PREREQUISITE CLASSES

MUST HAVE TAKEN PRIOR PISTOL TRAINING AND HAVE THE FOUR FIREARM SAFETY RULES MEMORIZED. WE ARE NOT HERE TO BABY SIT YOU. Carry Pistol 1 is the reccommended prerequisite class.

LIVE FIRE CLASS INFORMATION

You should already know how to shoot and how to fight with your pistol. This is where you learn to use the darkness and your tools. This is not just a matter of shooting with a flashlight, this is fighting in the darkness and controlling the light. We will be exploring modern tactics, techniques, and gear.

4. OPTIONAL Weapon mounted light (it is going to make life better)

5. OPTIONAL red dot optic or tritium night sights (RED DOT will probably be better than green, if you have a green dot bring it and we will show you why. Tritium night sights are good too. These will be useful when shooting without a light at night)

6. SPARE BATTERIES FOR YOUR LIGHTS and make sure you have fresh batteries before class

7. OPTIONAL headlamp that also has red, it will make life easier in between drills

8. 500 rounds of quality ammunition minimum (bring as much as you can)

9. Quality semi automatic pistol (not a revolver class)

10. Minimum of three magazines (if you have more, bring all of them) (Single stack guns bring 6 magazines)

11. Quality belt mounted holster, inner waistband kydex holster is preferred, (you don't wear a war belt to the grocery store) (ABSOLUTELY NO SERPA HOLSTERS, URBAN CARRY HOLSTERS, STICKY HOLSTERS, OR NYLON HOLSTERS) 

12. Gun belt (watch youtube channel for reccomendations)

13. Magazine carrier (pockets are fine)

14. Water (lots of it!)

15. Snacks (no lunch break)

Pistols, rifles, extra magazines, holster, and magazines can be rented free of charge.

Rentals guns must use FACTORY NEW, BRASS CASED, FULL METAL JACKET ammunition. 

NO reloaded ammunition and NO steel cased ammunition. This keeps you safe and the gun in working order.

If you rent a gun and bring your own ammunition it must be in the ORIGINAL BOXES they came in. This ensures that there are no mistakes and the correct ammunition is used. 

If you fail to follow these rules and your ammunition breaks a gun, you buy it.
